Once you know what you want, make sure you communicate it to your photographer.Show him/her some of your favorite couple poses, locations, and props. You can easily get on the same page and they are much more likely to capture the style of pictures that you’re after.

Make sure you ask for and value your photographer’s opinion as well. After all, they are the professional.  Not only will they know if there are any problems with your chosen location, but they will know if there are better options available.
